When people think of pollution, many are thinking of cars, planes, and factories but this only accounts for outdoor pollution. Your home’s air can also become dirty. In fact, it’s almost certainly more polluted than the air outside. To help you solve this problem, here are the three main pollutants that may be filling your home right now.

1 - Moldy Surfaces

One of the biggest polluters in the home is definitely mold. However, it’s not always visible on the surfaces of your home, preferring dark, hidden spaces. To spot it and remove, get a professional mold inspection service performed.

2 - Chemical Cleaning Products

Another contributing factor to home pollution is the toxic chemicals in cleaners. While cleaning products can remove harmful substances, they also fill the air with chemicals. Air out the home while cleaning or switch to a more natural alternative.

3 - Paint, Glue, and Other DIY Products

DIY products like paint and glue are also full of toxic chemicals that pollute the air. When doing any home maintenance, remember to open your windows to air out the home. You could also clean the air using an air conditioning unit.
