Dental problems like gum disease and cavities, if they are left untreated then they can hamper one's health and life quality badly. A person may experience tooth loss, pain, impaired growth, self-confidence issues and increase sick day leaves. Here, we are going to discuss the relationship between Dental health and Vitamin D in detail.

Vitamin D and Dental Health

While brushing in the morning, you observe that your gums were bleeding slightly or when you flossed your gums bleed then it is not considered to be a good sign. Some people assume that when they stop thorough brushing or stop complete flossing is a good way to heal this concern. This is the worst solution and leaving the gum bleeding untreated also worsens your condition later on. If you face such problems then you should visit the dental clinic and get the treatment from the proficient dentist on time.

Dental inflammation and bleeding gums are terrible diseases. Dental impairment is the most serious problem in children and gum bleeding is one of the common symptoms of gum disease.

We have failed to see what is going on in the body which also affects dental health. So we have to take care of it while we are polishing our teeth. Vitamin D is considered to be an effective source to encourage dental health by preventing dental inflammation and gum disease.

Tooth Decay: Vitamin D and the Dental Immune System

Some people think good oral hygiene is related to dental impairment. In the ancient era, many people never touch a toothbrush and experience very little tooth decay. One of the main reasons which result in dental impairment is vitamin D. When sunlight is applied to the skin then your body is going to absorb vitamin D which is important for dental health.

For healthy bones, Vitamin D is very as the digestive system is allowed to absorb the calcium from the consumed diet. Calcium is considered as a raw material which forms with the phosphorus in the bones and makes the tooth enamel. Underneath the enamel, there is the presence of dentin.

Your dentin contains 'supportive' cells that are present on the enamel border and exclude immune factors.

Why do Gums bleed?

When you brush your teeth too hard then your gums may begin to bleed. Moreover, it happens when you prefer the hard-bristled toothbrush or the technique of brushing which involves very hard scrubbing. If this is the case then you should switch your hard bristle brush with the soft one. If you overlooked this issue then it may cause severe infection in your mouth. If you use the improper brushing techniques then it results in a building of plaque over teeth surface and plaque is a sticky substance that contains bacteria. These bacteria emit toxins that will infect and inflame the gums until or unless you clean your teeth thoroughly twice a day and floss once-a-day. In the early stages, this stipulation is called gingivitis but if you left untreated and then it will worsen the situation and will progress into a disease called periodontitis, which proves to be more serious and results in tooth loss.

The first symptom of gingivitis is Bleeding gums and you can completely reverse this situation easily with the proper treatment of gingivitis on time. It can treat the situation without harming any damage to teeth and gums. Some of the symptoms are:-

• red gums

• feel puffy

• feels tenderness.
