Proteus 8000 series meter measures the liquid heat transfer and other liquids from -40 to 90 ° C. The customized version handles liquids temperature of 150 ° C and above. The built-in relay is for signaling an alarm shut down. The system before any damage is done to valuable equipment and products.

The Proteus 8000 Series measures flow based on differential pressure created by the built-in calibrated nozzle. The counter is autonomous and to complete. It does not require external power connections, single ports or shut-off, purge, or equalizing valves.

How does Proteus 8000 Series Work?

The liquid flows through the sensor chamber; it makes the rotor turn around. A magnet built into the rotor converts the sensor of the required flow meter. 

Flow rate information is displayed as 0-5 or 0-10 VDC and 4-20 mA. You will notice something different in the rotor for each of the processes you are taking. 

Built-in relay programmed to change state when the measured flow rate falls below the pre-selected warning value. The GREEN status indicator when the flow is at the normal operating level. AMBER falls below the calculated warning limit. Therefore RED falls below the signal line's speed.

A 16-position rotary switch allows easy and precise selection of the alarm trip point value. The button is located under a threaded closure with a waterproof O-ring to prevent accidental adjustments. The trigger is set by selecting switch positions 1 to F. Point flow in 5% steps from 10% to 80% of the maximum flow of the instrument. Position F can be an alternative programmed at the factory with a user-defined set point.

The unique AutoAlarm ™ feature enables the operator to set the alarm trigger point value based on a measured reference flow. To activate AutoAlarm, set the liquid flow to the desired flow rate and turn the rotary switch to position 0. The status LED indicator will flash for five seconds to indicate that the trigger point has been programmed correctly.
